Kari Walls, owner of Tender Hands Gardening, needed a new look for her booming landscaping business. After the initial meeting with her, I was inspired by her enthusiasm and forward-thinking ideas for growing her business. It's always exciting to help businesses move to that next level!
Kari knew that she wanted to incorporate greenery and flowers into the design, but she also wanted to communicate the design-based aspects of the business which is an area she is hoping to expand on.
I took those requests and created a logo that suggested both overflowing greenery and an eye for style and design with a vintage, time honored feel.
A secondary mini-mark was created for various uses and can be seen on the business card. Having a second mark like this can be very useful when creating promotional material.
Finally, a color palette of white and two shades of green was decided upon for consistency and clarity of function. Having a consistent color palette is just as important as having a memorable logo. In time, your customers come to associate that color with your brand which creates easier brand identity and communication down the road.
